Happy New Year and happy birthday CSi!

Happy New Year all and I am certain this will be a creative, colorful crafty kinda year!

CSi is turning five today and to celebrate Debbi asked me (along with several other retired detectives) to celebrate with them. I was happy to celebrate with her all all the amazing talents over at the CSi blog.

The colors in this challenge are so bright and since the case file is all about celebration I used a photo of my lil girl's which was taken on her birthday last month.

I also used the sketch as inspiration for my design, and here is my evidence list: Tiny dots - circles - different colored letter stickers - enamel dots.

My last CSi DT layout

This is my last CSi DT layout - I am a bit sad about leaving but I though it was time for me to step down and let others in  because it is so great to be a part of the CSi team. 

Debbi is amazing and I really enjoyed my time as a CSi Detective and I will most definitely be participating in the challenges!

CSI challenge #160

It's time for the first April challenge over at CSi and this file is soft and ohh so green!

I decided to use a picture I took last summer of my lil brother and his girlfriend. Just love this pic to bits cause it so them!

I love all those shades of greens in this file and of course I just had a add a flower or five!

Evidence: flowers, resin accents, map print, textured paper, transparent item (vellum), chevrons.
Testimony: Inspiration words - fabulous, inspiration.

CSi case file 153

The newest challenge is up over at the CSi site and this file is kinda delish - Case File #153.

Soft and beautiful colors that work with any kind of topic or theme.

 

I decided to use this photo of my sister-in-law - aren't these colors just perfect with the photo?!

Evidence list: fence, bakers twine, liquid pearls, border punch.

Testimony: Stacked journaling spots.

Materials used: papers from 13Arts, Prima flowers, bakers twine, journaling labels from Studio Calico, Martha Stewart punch, glimmer mists and cardstock.

5 years old - CSI CC-4 case file

I am so in love with this case file from CSi - beautiful soft blues with a hint of "Frozen" theme.

This file was just perfect for my lil girls birthday pics and yes there may have been a "Frozen" inspired decoration or two at the birthday party! ;)

 

I just love her happy face on thee photos - this lil girl sure knows how to have a good time and lights up the room with her smile!

New CSI case file!

Another week and another fabulous CSI case file.

This case file is filled with soft pretty colors and a bit of chalk inspiration thrown into the mix.

Evidence: distressing, flowers, leaves, bricks, ribbon, puffy stickers

Testimony: write your journaling on a tag, journal jar prompts.

These colors are some of my fave colors and I just had to add a bit of misting to the layout just for fun.

CSI case file #147

CSI just launched case file #147 last Friday and this case file is perfect for those winter-fun days.

Even though this color combo kinda reminds me of winter I decided to use those to create layout about my daughter's birthday.

Evidence: stripes, polka dots, stars, rub-ons, stack something and stamps.

Testimony: journal on three stacked spots, inspiration words (day)

My journaling is about her birthday and that she got everything that she wished for that day. She got her fave Monster High doll (Cleo has been on her wishlist for about 2 years)  and the birthday cake was just like she had dreamed about. :)
