CSI - challenge CC3

Sunday, 2 November 2014

CSI brings you two amazing challenges this week and today I am sharing a special Case file CC-3!

I wanted to create a layout about nature so I decided to use this photo of Esja (a mountain in Reykjavik). I really like this photo because it is so calm and shows the snowy tops of the mountain - winter is coming! ;)

I created the background by using several different colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer mist, gesso, ink and stamps.

The die-cut files are some of my recent faves and I got them from Studio Calico.

Hop on over the CSI site and share you take on this challenge.

A new book and Odd sentiments

Tuesday, 28 October 2014

I am currently attending a course where I am learning how to create all kinds of books and albums and I love every minute of that class.

So when I made this book I knew I had to decorate it as soon as I got home from class.

So I decided to get my flowers, doilies, leaves and Some Odd Girl sentiments V2 out and give this book a finished look.

Just love these sentiments and they are such a neat way to decorate a book for someone special!

CSI has a brand new case file #143 and it is such a fun one - lots of mixed media tricks and the colors are beautiful, kinda wintery and warm at the same time!

I used some of the papers from the September kit from My Creative Scrapbook, gear cut-fiels from Some Odd Girl, lots of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, stamps from the Sweet Stamps Shop, Studio Calico and Prima and lots more pretties from my stash!

I used all the colors from the file but I focused on the blues.
Evidence: mixed media, flowers, leaves, frame, birdcage, gears, butterflies
