Truly Madly Deeply

Tuesday, 20 September 2016

As much as I love stamping and coring I do like to create cards using left overs from other projects.

These patterned papers by Kaisercraft are beautiful and I love the rich colors in this collection plus I do love to use a doily whenever possible.

The green ribbon is one of my old faves from Webster's Pages - just love the green against the browns.

Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:
Here are the links to what I have used on my creation. Please click on the picture to be taken to where the items are available. Some items may not me listed below due to them being discontinued (older product) or I am unable to find a link.

Secret garden card

Monday, 23 November 2015

I have a large stash of my  beloved Webster's Pages papers that I love to look at and admire from time to time.

I know it is a bit crazy to have a large stash of pretty papers (unless you are a paper crafter you do understand this need) and not use them, but I am really trying to lessen my stash  bit by bit.

So this card was born - using only WB patterned papers, cardstock and embellishments.

Dream junk journal

Friday, 24 July 2015

Hi everyone!
I have another "clean" junk journal to share today and this one was made using some of my older, and still fave, Ladies and Gents collection from Webster's Pages.

The covers are made from heavy weight chipboard, covered with patterned papers and inked with Walnut Stain Distress Inks.

I used a selection of Prima flowers to decorate the cover, wood veneers & a gold doily from Studio Calico, embossing powder and liquid pearls.

I created some pockets, waterfall and inserts here and there so there should be plenty of space to add some journaling and/or photos.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day is a good one!

Friday is here and I have a layout to share.

I just adore the Strawberry Fields collection by Webster's Pages and I have been saving these papers for a special photo. Plus when it is still freezing outside it is nice to get a bit of "summer" in my craft-room!

This photo of my girls in their Senorita outfits was just perfect for these papers- sweet and red. Just love how precious and adorable these lil pranksters look in this photo! ;)

Supplies used: Webster's Pages papers and stickers, Prima flowers, Petaloo flowers/leavers, Wild Orchid Crafts stems, doilies, Heidi Swapp stamps, Ranger ink, Prima wood veneers, AC cardstock, Heidi Swapp & Tattered Angels mists.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day is a sweet one!

Christmas tag - Angel Marci

Saturday, 8 November 2014

Christmas will be here before you know it so I keep adding to my tag collection every week.

I made this tag using the beautiful Angel Marci stamp from La-La Land Crafts along with some of my old fave Webster's Pages.

Copic colors:
Skin: E000/00/11 R20/21/22
Hair RV10/11/13/14
Dress C0/1/3 R01/02
Flowers Y11/13/15
Leaves G21/24
Wings YR00/01

I love using flowers on my Holiday cards/tags cause it gives it a bit of a different look. Plus the Liquid Perls add a lot of dimension to the tag as well.

Here is the step by step video.

Altered paper-bag - Autumn style

Thursday, 25 September 2014

Autumn is my favorite season - I just adore the colors and those days that we get without rain. Living in Iceland the rain kinda takes over autumn but I still love the colors! :D

I colored this adorable La-La-Land image with my Copics and I was pretty darn bold - I usually go for the softer colors but this time I wanted to challenge myself.

Copic colors:
Skin E000/00/11 R20/21
Hair E31/33/35
Clothes  V05/06/09 E95/97/99 V91/93/95

I decided to us these Webster's Pages papers to alter a white paper-bag into a card/set. I also used my WRMK Envelope Punch Board to create the fun look on my tags.

The embossing powder is from Lindy's Gang and I went a bit crazy with the misting - kinda challenged my inner windy-kinda-autumn-day!

Just a notebook

Wednesday, 30 July 2014

I love making these lil notebooks - cause one can never have to many notebooks! ;)

Not only are these easy to make but they are great to us up those left over papers that just want to be used up.

I used a combination of Webster's Pages, Prima, Pebbles and twine from the Twinery to make this lil notebook.

I inked all the edges with my beloved Distress Ink and stamped some of the pages just for extra cuteness! :D

Just Soar!

Monday, 30 June 2014

Some of my favorite characters to color are fairies - there is just something fascinating about that fantasy world that draws me in.

This lil fairy is called Fairy in Flight and she is an Odd Girl Stamps and I simply adore her to bits.

I used Webster's Pages papers on this card and of course I couldn't not resist to glitter her wings. Well she is a fairy after all! :D

Altered Canvas bag

Monday, 23 June 2014

I really love the canvas bags that Studio Calico puts all those extra goodies I buy along with my kit-subscriptions every month.

Not only are they great to keep small embellishments and other small items in but they are perfect for altering too.

So I decided to alter one of my bags and ohh my I had so much fun!

I used several different mists from Lindy's and Heidi Swapp, lots of gesso, gorgeous Prima & Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, lace Webster's ribbons, Prima resin, Finnabair metal charm, Ranger Stickles, a doily and Some Odd Girl stamps.

Now I have the perfect excuse to buy more pretties every month along with my Studio Calico kits just to get more bags to alter!

Thanks so much for stopping by! .D

CSI challenge #128

Sunday, 22 June 2014

The latest case file #128 from CSI is live over at the CSI site and it is purple-licious!

Purple has always been a difficult color to scrapbook and I almost didn't do this file just because of my "fear of crafting purple", but then I thought why not take the challenge and give it a go.

I am somewhat happy with the outcome and I really like the gesso-background.

I used all the colors in the file but my main color was purple.
Evidence: window (around the journaling), flowers, crepe paper, pearls, punches
Testimony: Frame your story + the word new.

Thanks for stopping by! :D
