My Favorite Things | Tiddly Inks

This Tiddly Inks stamp is one of my fave from them and since I am working on improving my colored pencil skills I thought I would give it a go on this cute image.

I even went with colors I don't usually color with (purple colors) so I am extra happy with the result.

The Prima papers were just the perfect touch and I just had to use some of my new Tonic Nuvo Drops - they are just sooo darn pretty!

Clearly Besotted pretties!

I got the cutest stamp-set from Clearly Besotted the other day and maaaaannnn are these stamps adorable!

I used mt FC Polychromos to color these lil cuties - I am not the best pencil colorer but I am getting better thanks to the fab Kit & Clowder Classes.

I also got my hands on this lil window die from Clearly Besotted and I just love how it turned out.

Angry Owl and Smart Cat

It's another Monday filled with brand new Some Odd Girl digi stamp fabness!

These digis are so darn cute, but lets start with Angry Owl. I colored this lil dude using my FC Polychromos on a Kraft card-stock.

I just adore this funky angry face and I kinda like him too. There is something weirdly charming about the snarky "sassness"!

Well after all that "sassness" lets turn to this Smart Cat for some advice!

This image is just begging to be used on a graduation card for funky someone!

Angel Fish and Umbrella Snail

Some Odd Girl is releasing two fab digi stamps today and I had so much fun coloring these images.

First up is lil miss Angels Fish - how fab is this fish, and of course I just had to add a bit of sparkle to this pretty lil thing! ;) The sequins and that gorgeous gold doily are from Some Odd Girl too.

And since I am just starting to learn about the wonders of the colored pencils via Kit & Clowder I decided to have a go with that medium on this cute Umbrella Snail.

I had so much fun coloring him in and even though my pencil-coloring is not the best I had so much fun coloring with my Polychromos.

Bloom Girl & Mixed Media

I just love adding all those mixed media tricks I learned from Finnabair to my cards and I used a very subtle touch for this card.

The Bloom Girl stamp is colored using the Inktense pencils and a bit of Wink of Stella just cause I need a bit of glitter.

The background was created using clear gesso, Neocolor II pastels, water, stamping, Some Odd Bamboo twine and a gold doily. Then I added a bit of rhinestones and enamel dots to give the background more texture.

Notebook covers

I just love the first weeks of getting back to school.

My class-room looks so nice and neat, everything is in its place and I just have to bring a lil something to make my desk look more like me. 

So this year I dressed up these notepads I had in my stash to liven up the class-room.

I just love this lil tag from a dress my girls got and I just had to add it to my pad! ;)

This blue/pink one is my own and the other two I made for two of my fellow teachers - I can't really just create one notepad can I? I used papers from Pink Paislee and the super cute image on the cover is a clear stamp from Some Odd Girl colored with Inktense pencils and a Wink of Stella glitter pen.

These notepads look so cute and inviting and they look great on a desk. 

Well I better get back to work and get everything ready before the students arrive on Monday!

Bloom where you are planted

Happy Monday all and I hope you are enjoying summer wherever you are!

Krista from Saturated Canary launched a coloring contest last week where she was focusing on "Fashion Decades" and I just loved the stamps that she created for this challenge.

I was traveling at that time so I didn't participate in the challenge but I managed to get my hands on the set I wanted.

I got the 40´s and 50´S Fashion Decades images. 

I colored the 40´s image using my Pablo Caran d'Ache pencils and of course I had to add a bit of sparkle with my Clear Wink of Stella pen. The papers I used here are from My Minds Eye.
