The entire hop today:

And my inspiration for you is my advent-light decoration!

I used several rub-ons from Basic Grey, Jenni Bowlin and Studio Calico to decorate my candles as well as Prima gemstones.

The I just had to have a bird or two just to add cuteness and of course "snow" for the fluffy part.

Thanks so much for hopping with us and don't forget about the giveaway!!

  1. What lovely candles! I never thought to use rub-ons for candle decorating! I have always heat embossed them! Will be giving this a try! Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. I've used paper that you've melted into the candles but never rub-ons. They would be much faster (and safer). The display is very pretty. the "snow" is so pretty and the birds add to the pretty design. Great project.

  13. I'm sitting here by my front window and the little birds are going to the feeders we provided in the rhoddie bush for them. Snow flakes are falling but not a lot. Your centerpiece reminded me of this and how Christmasy it makes me feel.
