Christmas card | Newton's Nook

Hi all!
I hope you are all doing well after the Christmas festivities - I know I am feeling ever so relaxed and so enjoying all the yummy meals.

I haven't shared all my Christmas cards so I thought I would share this card using the adorable Ornament Newton stamp set.

This stamp set is so stinkin cute. I used my brand new Mini-Misti tool and I just LOVE it to bits!

Christmas card | Some Odd Girl

Happy Friday and ohh my Christmas Eve is tomorrow - woohoo!

I made this card using a clear stamp set from Some Odd Girl along with some of my new goodies from Simon Says Stamp, Seven Hills Crafts and Blitsy.

I wanted to use my new embossing powder to create a gold sparkly kinda card but still keep it kinda simple.

Even if Christmas is almost her I am still crafting and creating cause I always need more cards at the last minute!

Vintage inspired X-mas card

Hi all - things are starting to get rather hectic these days.

While prepping for Christmas I am almost done with all the exam grading, assignment assessments and all that work stuff - and that means I get to craft and bake non stop from 4 o'clock Tuesday! :)

I made this card using some gorgeous G45 papers and I just love using my WRMK Envelope Punch Board to make these large bows. And these beautiful Petaloo flowers are just divine!

It's so much fun making these dimensional cards - since these are rather expensive to post I just deliver these cards in person.

Sparkly blues

Hi all and happy Friday!

I ma so happy Friday is here cause I am so ready for some chill-time and coziness.

I am always trying to get better at making shaker-cards and this shaker was made using the Fuse Tool and some of my newer dies from MY favorite Things.

It is not too Christmas-like this time but it does remind me a tiny bit of winter.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Christmas craft | Sparkly tree tag

Tags are such a fun way to use your stamps and these adorable trees from Some Odd Girl are really fun to use as a simple focal point for a large tag.

I colored the trees using my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and I really like how they turned out.

Plus the gorgeous Nuvo Drops from Tonic Studios look fab on the trees - just love how sparkly and perfectly shaped they are.

For the love of coffee

Hi all!
I love creating Holiday cards but it is nice to take a break from the Christmas card-making so I decided to go for coffee!

This image from Some Odd Girl called Coffee Lover Mae is such a fa image and several of my fellow ODD DT girls have created many Holiday themed cars using this digi.

Christmas | Advent

I simply adore all things Christmas things and I love decorating my house during this season.

For the last 6 years or so I have made/decorated my advent-candle centrepiece and this year I decided to go for simple and classic.

The items I used for this years advent decoration were things I had at home, and I the only items I needed to buy were the candles.

And I may have gone a bit "crazy" with the sparkly snowflakes cause I have a really hard time not adding glitter to everything!

Happy Advent.

Stamping and water-coloring.

Hi all!

I wanted to create a Christmas card that was different from the traditional kind so I decided to go for colors that I do not use that much.

The gold embossing and that shiny paper are fantastic against the bold colors and the snowflake stamp from MFT are soooo pretty!

Merry Christmas | Watercoloring

Hi all and I hope all my American readers had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I just got these brand new stamps from Simon Says Stamp the other day and I just had to create a card using them ASAP.

The sentiment is a wood sentiment that I got from a friend here in Iceland.
I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder for the added glow.

These stamps are so fun to work with and I loved how they looked with my new Clean Color Brush markers that I got from Seven Hills Crafts.

Sweet lil Chrismtas card

Hi all.
I just love these cute stamps by Mama Elephant - I mean how cute are these bunnies?!

These dies from MFT are so fun to use and I love how decorative these smaller cards look.

Plus my shaker-card crafting is evolving and that means I might "need" to buy more pretty dies and sequins! :)
