Hello there!
I love flowers and stamping, and Altenew never disappoints when flowers are involved.
This stamp set is oh so delicate and fun to work with. I wanted to keep the cards clean and simple, so I decided to keep the background white and embossed for a subtle texture.
I used the same embossing folder for all the cards but treated each background differently. It is so subtle that you only notice it if you take a closer look at the card.
The first card's background is embossed as you would typically do and adds a beautiful texture.
The second card is embossed in the same way, but I added sparkly ink to the folder itself before running it through the die-cut machine. That way, you get a subtle shine to the background.
The last card is embossed in the same manner as the first one. However, I used the reverse side of the embossing folder, leaving me with a debossed version for the background.
If you are new to die-cutting and stamping I highly recommend this course by Altenew.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
