Hello all!
When I saw this stamp by Pinkfresh & Altenew I just had to have it and to be honest I can't put it down.
So for these cards, I wanted to try two different techniques with watercolours. The first method I used was to apply the watercolour markers without adding water to the cardstock itself.
This way the colours are more intense and I get kinda strong shadows where each layer blends.
The second method was using lots of water. I sprayed the stamp itself with water using my Distress Sprayer and then I added drops of colour here and there and then I sprayed even more water.
This way I was able to achieve a messy-kind of watercolour look and made the colours more pastel in the process.
I had so much fun trying out these two different versions of the same stamp - I am by no means an expert (far from it) but it sure is fun to colour.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
