Words & Paintery May challenge

I recently discovered a new (well new to me) monthly challenges blog called Words & Paintery.

I really liked the idea of using colors and words as an inspiration for a mixed media layout, card or an altered project. Since I am kinda new to the mixed media adventures this is a great kick-start for me.

I used the May challenge to create this layout and I really love those soft colors and how the text inspired my design.

Items used to create the layout:  SpiegelMom Scraps sequins, Dazzler Texture Paste, Prima stencil, doily, Lindy´s mist, Tattered Angels mists, cardstock, Echo Park papers & vellum.

I am also gonna throw my hat in the DT-call cause you never know right?!
